5 Manga Movies We Want to See

Just a temporal hop, skip and a jump away is 2009's live-action big screen version of Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira, but if the American adaptation of the manga/anime phenomenon that launched a thousand otaku is a smash success, what treasured classics of Japanese culture will Hollywood choose to to adapt next?

Who doesn't want Olympic gymnast Alicia Sacramone?

Sacramone, who took much of the blame for USA's loss to China in the gymnastics event, still managed to get a new following — for being incredibly hot. And this just in from one web stalker: "SHE'S 20, so she's not jailbait!"

The Top 7 Girl Gamer Stereotypes

For Norris’ sake, we all know that girls play games. They play “hardcore” games, "casual" games, strategy games, adventure games, fighting games, mind games, games games games all the time every day. Can we stop with the “girl gamer” nonsense? Of course not, at least, not until we overanalyze every last stereotype you're subjected to.

Fox Suing Warner Brothers Over Watchmen

A judge has denied a Warner Bros. motion to dismiss 20th Century Fox's lawsuit over the right to make a film based on the graphic novel "Watchmen." Ruling is potentially a huge victory for Fox, which could wind up being a profit participant in the film, costing Warners millions considering the film's box office prospects.

If it's animation or special effects, it's Linux

Like the special effects in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; 300; The Golden Compass; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; and I Am Legend? The animation in Star Wars: The Clone Wars; WALL-E; or Ratatouille? You can thank Linux for all of them.

No Cone of Silence for McCain

No Cone of Silence for McCain

NYT says, despite Pastor Warren's assurances, Mccain wasn't in the cone. ( 21 , 165 )

Why is this even news?

More about the McCain lie from the NYT. Did he cheat? He certainly had the opportunity, and his campaign's non-denial doesn't do anything to remove any doubt for the public. The fact that McCain is a POW does confer saintly qualities upon him nor should it protect him from questions about his actions. McCain wasn't there when he agreed to be. To avoid the appearance of impropriety, he/his campaign should have informed the moderator of what had occurred and he should have withdrawn from the forum. He didn't do the right thing and now he's being called on it, as he should be. ( 5 )

Wow…Check Out theseBike Racks! [pics]

The designs, made from the same square metal tubing used in ordinary bike racks, attempt to encapsulate and define various New York neighborhoods: a dollar sign sits on the walkway outside Wall Street; an electric guitar decorates the path in Williamsburg and in Brooklyn, a car near the entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel.
